Our Mission is Simple: Take what Mother Nature provides and turn it into something beautiful and useful. Our 80 acre farm in La Porte County Indiana contains about 20 acres of Timber. Due to the topography of what is known as "Toad Hollow", the timber can thrive to a shallow root depth. The shallow root system of the trees makes them susceptible to wind and they tend to fall on their own during wind storms. Once a tree has fallen naturally, we quickly elevate it off the ground and begin processing the timber into milled slabs. The timber will either air dry for more than two years or be kiln dried to a low moisture level. The red oak above grew to an impressive size before coming down, roughly 35 feet of trunk at about 32 inch diameter.....a significant amount of lumber that would have gone to waste without our process.
